Thrive collective Rhymes Help Young Minds Excel partners with Montefiore Moshulu Community Center to provide NYC students with fun, educational and interactive rap and percussion summer workshops.

The R.H.Y.M.E x MMCC summer intensive took place over the course of 5 days in August at the beautiful MMCC Explorer camp in the Harriman, NY.Students got a chance to free style rap, play the cajon drum, an African Peruvian hand instrument and learn about the 5 elements of Hip Hop – Emceeing, Djing, Breaking, Writing/Grafitti and Knowledge. Special thanks to Carlie, Luke and the whole team at MMCC and to RHYME teaching artists Randy Mason, Kevin Toledo, Kareem Caines and Jason Roberts.
