Studio Arts

Based in Central Harlem, our Studio Arts programs provide Murals, Music, and Media production at the new Living Redemption Youth Opportunity Hub collaboratively with Community Connections for Youth and support from the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office’s Criminal Justice Investment Initiative. We help manage the 7,200 square foot floor as the creative space on behalf of the Harlem Hub, and facilitate arts programs directly and with contracted providers. Why Studio Arts?

As our longest tenured artist, Kekoa has worn many hats at Thrive Collective, and has worked on 29 school murals since 2007.

Art is my voice, a window into my thoughts and my soul. It helps me express complicated ideas and emotions. It’s impossible to imagine a world without art because it’s embedded in my very being.

The Power of Clean

Award-winning actor Sterling K. Brown joined Clorox and Thrive Collective to celebrate the opening of our new Studio Arts programs at the Living Redemption Youth Opportunity Hub in Harlem, on Feb. 27, 2018. The space was cleaned with a grant from Clorox and the help of 250 community volunteers.
