Celebrate AAPI Heritage
Spread Love AAPI Mural unveiling and community event.
In celebration of Asian American Pacific Islander heritage month and in response to the rapidly increasing rise of Anti-Asian violence across the nation, NYC based Korean/Spanish artist/muralist Bianca Romero, in partnership with Thrive Collective, The New York City Mayor’s office, and The NY Chinese Alliance Church, is painting a public mural in NYC to address anti-racism sentiments and hold a space to represent the Asian community.
The mural unveiling celebration will be held on Saturday May 22nd on Eldridge St. between Delancey St. and Rivington St. from 12pm – 3pm and will be open and free for the general public. The street fair will include music, performances, and community resources pertinent to the AAPI community.
All CDC recommended Covid guidelines will be in place. There will be proper PPE and sanitizing tables and even COVID-19 Testing and Vaccine vans.
Come and celebrate AAPI heritage month with us at the Spread Love AAPI Mural unveiling.
