29 students from IS 117’s after-school art club met with Thrive staff twice a week for 15 weeks to produce this 600 sq. ft. mural. Participating students were in the 6th, 7th and 8th grade.
This mural is designed to encapsulate the raw energy of the students both already present & future. From the breaking out of the wall to the pouring out of the world around them in the mural, in the home of the wildcats raw & wild energy can become a powerful focused tool equipped to build the works of the future.
