P.S 212 Has the Best Koalities

PS 212 commissioned artist Pelumi Ayeni to celebrate their Koala mascot and motto: “P.S.212 has the best KOALITIES” on their schoolyard entrance doors.

Featuring bright colors and blue highlights, they also wanted the mural to include fun elements that reference the iconic attractions of the nearby Coney Island amusement parks. Students ride a roller coaster ride entering the school while the Koala welcomes them into the building.
