For the main entranceway of PS 329 the Surfside School, artist Peach Tao and the students involved helped to create an energetic and inspirational portal in and out of the school, welcoming all those who enter into Coney Island’s best-kept secret. The three walls include imagery of students creating and playing in and around a beach backdrop with the school’s Dolphin mascot. Students were sure to include quotes like “You’re beautiful just the way you are” when designing welcome signs for the school.
