This mural is a celebration of powerful women at home and abroad who have made major contributions to society. Together with students and the principal, we carefully decided this list of famous women who we wanted to depict on the wall. Included on this wall are Ruth Ginsburg, Malala Yousafzai, empress Wu Zeitan, Yayoi Kusama, Amanda Gorman, Ella Fitzgerald, Geraldine Ferraro, Susan B. Anthony, Joan of Arc, Mother Teresa, Maya Angelou, Amelia Earhart, Frida Kahlo, and a woman with a chicken. Quotes of theirs are written next to their image.
