“We came with our past, and left with a future.”
The school wanted a mural mostly black and white with splashes of color added in to give it more life. The central quote, “We came with our past, and left with a future,” was chosen by students. We see the school’s Bulldog mascot inside the 6-train flying to the future. We see the earth symbolizing diversity and the world. We have music notes, and a boombox with “Bronx” written over it and the cross street signs symbolizing the local area.
