PS 145K: Leadership through Engineering

Brooklyn’s PS 145: Magnet School of Leadership through Engineering commissioned a new stairwell mural to reinforce its mission: “Empowering Leaders, Inspiring Creativity, Building Community.” Artist Yazmeen Collazo drew inspiration from imagery already used at school to create a bright and fun entry way for students and parents alike.  Using cool oranges, blues and greens as a backdrop, a system of gears now greets visitors to the building reminding them they make the mission possible everyday.
