Dry Dock Park is quite literally Thrive Collective’s backyard. It’s across 10th Street from our office, across Avenue D from where we started as an after school program in 1996, and adjacent to our flagship school PS/MS 34 in Manhattan’s Lower East Side.
So when our friends and neighbors at Henry Street Settlement invited us to bring our event murals to their annual circus we jumped at the opportunity.
Veteran Thrive artists Michela Muserra led the spray paint wall and Savannah Zambrano the acrylic wall. Special thanks to Abounding Grace Ministries and Elevation Church for providing volunteers and sponsoring our participation in the day.
