What to do when Carnegie Hall and NeON Arts recommend you to The Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City to find students to paint four original canvases to present as awards to four of the most distinguished NYC philanthropists at its 25th anniversary gala at Gracie Manson? Commission rockstar student artists Rosabella Garcia, Christopher Ajayi, and Victoria Cruz, with support from School Murals director Marissa Molina and Judah Del Rio . They absolutely crushed the opportunity, and on June 25th they enjoyed the fruit of their labors. Congratulations, team!

The gala at Gracie Mansion! This was a huge step to take for my career as an artist, especially for my age, and I was beyond honored to attend. Two wonderful musical performances, lots of gourmet appitizers and sharing that experience with my pals made it extra special! Also met the man who received my painting; a representative of Robin hood! I recorded the whole thing on a Live but I don’t know what happened to it.. But, it was amazing living it in the moment. An amazing experience, and I couldn’t have done it without @nycthrive 💕 Thank you for giving me this opportunity!
