Safe in Harlem ribbon cutting

Friday the Thirteenth Fun

  • 0

On Friday the Thirteenth (of October), we cut another ribbon — this time for the “I Am Harlem: Past, Present, Future” mural at Infinity Mennonite Church on the corner of 146th Street and Adam Clayton Powell Blvd. Students from Harlem Village Academies High School joined art director Aleathia Brown; our partners on this mural Felecia Brown and the SAFE in Harlem Coalition; Pastor Al Taylor of Infinity and congregational members; neighborhood volunteers and guests; Thrive’s collaborating artists Marissa Molina, Nico Collazo, and Sam Wisneski to celebrate the community’s collective achievement. Enjoy photos from the ribbon cutting here, and the final mural Portfolio here.
