PS 272: DON’T WORRY

NYC Council Member Mercedes Narcisse x PS 272 x R.H.Y.M.E & Speek Lyfe

PS 272 scholars proudly present “Don’t Worry,” an unforgettable Hip Hop anthem. PS 272 elementary students in Brooklyn NYC met twice a week for 12 weeks with RHYME and Speek Lyfe teaching artists Paul and Lawrence Coles for the 2024 spring semester to collaboratively write, record and film an original Hip Hop anthem and music video titled “Don’t Worry.”

Special thanks to NYC Council Member Mercedes Narcisse, CASA, NYC Dept. of Cultural Affairs, Paul and Lawrence Coles, PS 272, Ms. Lopez, and Eric Mason. The song was written and recorded by PS 272 scholars. The music video was shot and edited by Eric Mason.
