CBS: Students Team up with Local Artists

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork)

Some Bronx school kids teamed up with local artists Wednesday to brighten up their schoolyard.

Children with the “Summer Rising” program painted a mural at P17X.

City schools chancellor Meisha Ross Porter was there to take in the artistic creation.

Students in “Summer Rising” get access to art, music and theater.
