March may have come and gone, but we wanted to take a moment to celebrate someone who has gone above and beyond throughout the month — the one and only, Rob Ayala!
Coming through with his beats and artwork, Rob has been doing incredible work in and out of the classroom. He is currently serving as a Teaching Artist with RHYME, our Hip-Hop based music program. We see Rob foster incredible energy with his students this semester at Living Redemption Youth Opportunity Hub and Renaissance School of the Arts, evident in their classroom and final productions. But Rob’s creativity doesn’t stop there! He has created the cover art for the recently released songs from the series titled “Books, Beats, Bars,” created by students from Bronx Arts Elementary. Rob has previously served as a Teaching Artist in our mural program and actively brings visual elements and activities to his music classes. He’s also created a series of illustrated educational resources for our students and teaching artists alike. Rob’s talent within the arts continues to inspire and motivate his students to create artwork just like him.
See some of Rob’s and his students’ most recent work highlighted below!
