The award-winning School Murals after-school club at IS 117 Joseph Wade Academy in the Bronx returns for a second year tomorrow, November 10, 2015 from 2:30 – 5 pm. The club, which won the District 9 award for Best After School Art program last spring, anchors a campus wide collaboration between IS 117 and The Young Women’s Leadership School that includes in-school electives, after school enrichment, and the collaborative, student-led design and production of a School Mural in the building’s main entrance lobby.
