Antonio (Anthony) Perez’s dual career as an art director and a youth development specialist uniquely qualifies him to coordinate and lead new initiatives and special projects for Thrive Collective.

After receiving a Bachelor in Fine Arts, Anthony established his career as an Art Director working with clients such as Six Flags Great Adventures, VH1, MTV, Princess Cruises and Ann Taylor, along with local, national and international humanitarian groups and ministries.

Anthony has also been involved in youth development and youth ministry for more than half of his life. His work with teens began at an early age in a small church in the Bronx where he served as youth president. After college, he served a Manhattan church as youth leader for four years. He married and moved to California where he continued working in church-based youth ministry, and took on regional responsibilities for his denomination as the Spanish Western District Youth Director for The Christian & Missionary Alliance where he created workshops and trained local youth workers. During his stay in California he also worked for KidWorks as a director for an after school center in Santa Ana. He returned to New York in 2004 where he continues to direct youth programs at a church in Spanish Harlem. In May of 2014 he graduated with his M.Div from Alliance Theological Seminary.

As with many creative people, Anthony has found an outlet in music, specifically rap. With his moniker aTone, he has performed in local and national events and has released several CD’s .
