Thrive Collective proudly welcomes The Brooklyn Pop Foundation (“Brooklyn Pop”), to our network of affiliated arts organizations. Founded in 2024 by multimedia artists Michael (“Kaves”) and Donna McLeer, Brooklyn Pop preserves and celebrates Brooklyn’s unique place in pop culture and art, and educates future generations of  storytellers how to live and tell great stories through visual, performing, and multimedia production.

Thrive Collective (20/20 Vision for Schools, Inc.) will serve as the fiscal sponsor for The Brooklyn Pop Foundation while they secure federal tax exempt status. All donations earmarked to this fund are tax deductible and will be used to support the charitable mission of the foundation.

Brooklyn Pop isn’t just an art exhibit. It’s a tribute to the iconic films, television, art, music, and trendsetters from Brooklyn, distilled through the vision and life story of renowned artist Kaves. Set in an expansive 11,000 sq. ft space at Industry City in Sunset Park, Brooklyn Pop is a self-guided immersive journey exploring the interplay between art and life. Brooklyn Pop brings an authentic Brooklyn underdog story to life, via pop culture influences from the 1940s to the present day.
