In Spring 2024, the Arts Office of the NYC Department of Education selected Thrive Collective and our partners Projectivity and JM Custom Studios, to makeover three public school basketball courts in The Bronx, Queens, and Staten Island.

This schoolyard basketball court mural at PS 56 in Richmond Hill, Queens, was designed by iconic artists Queen Andrea and Shiro. The design features the school’s tiger mascot, and highlights its core values and GRIT: Goals, Resilience, Integrity, and Together.
