In 2016 at the We Are Thrive exhibition, we had the privilege of honoring NYC Comptroller Scott Stringer for inspiring BringArtBack with his “State of the Arts” report two years earlier. “Kindness Beats the Virus,” Thrive’s response to Covid-19 is part of that same movement.
Today we join Mr. Stringer in mourning his mother’s passing due to Coronavirus and the Covid-19 pandemic ravaging our city and world. Mr. Stringer, our hearts and prayers are with you as you grieve and celebrate your mother’s beautiful life. Her legacy endures through the work of Thrive Collective and so much more.
